Located in picture-perfect settings of the Massawippi River Valley, lies a hidden gem, a community for seniors radiating friendship, fun and care. For over 60 years, this location has served thousands of seniors in a loving, compassionate home environment where residents, staff and volunteers are each other’s second family. Massawippi Retirement Communities (MRC), a non-profit, charitable organization, manages Grace Village (formerly Grace Christian Home) in Sherbrooke, and what was formerly Connaught Home in North Hatley.
There is something special about Grace Village. Walking in, one notices the warm and friendly environment in which residents obtain excellent health care, live in fellowship, and continue to enjoy the love of family and friends. The facility currently houses 120 beds in its main building, and there are four adjacent semi-detached units for independent living. A full continuum of care is offered at Grace Village, from Independent and Assisted Living, to full Nursing Care, including Memory Care.
