Cook (PT & FT)
As a Sunrise Cook, you will be responsible for the preparation and servicing of meals, sanitation of food service areas, accurate record keeping, receiving, rotating and inventory of products and regulatory compliance. Serving the residents in our community and as a key member of the dining services team, you will ensure all special dietary needs are met and prepare texture modified food as directed. You will follow the specially prepared Sunrise menus and production sheets to maintain the highest possible quality and consistency.
Maintains a current ServSafe certificate (food services sanitation certificate) or able to become ServSafe certified. One (1) year job related experience including food preparation, full-line menu items and therapeutic diets. Demonstrates the ability to serve seniors in a team environment.
Server (PT & FT)
The Server / Dining Room Care Manager is responsible for providing dining and table services to residents in the community's dining rooms and designated areas in accordance with Sunrise Senior Living standards. Requirements: High School diploma preferred / GED accepted. Minimum of one (1) year experience in fine dining hospitality and / or full service senior living. Ability to handle multiple priorities. Possess written and verbal skills for effective communication. Competent in organizational, time management skills. Demonstrates good judgment, problem solving and decision making skills.
Dishwasher (PT)
The Dishwasher is responsible for performing various kitchen cleaning and storage activities such as but not limited to dish washing, pot washing, general and equipment cleaning, storage and rotation of food and supplies. Responsible for janitorial duties in various dining services areas such as Dining Room, Bistro and other areas associated as a Dining Activity. Requirements: High School diploma preferred/ GED accepted. At least one (1) year experience in fine dining hospitality and/or full service senior living preferred. Ability to handle multiple priorities. Possess written and verbal skills for effective communication. You must have organizational and time management skills and demonstrates good judgment, problem solving and decision making skills.
Concierge / Receptionist (PT)
As the Concierge, you provide the impression for all visitors into the Sunrise community. You will be responsible for greeting potential residents, families, visitors, managing both external and internal calls, and taking and communicating messages. The Concierge provides an overview of community information to those inquiries in support of the marketing and sales efforts. Requirements: Proven experience in a customer service role, having demonstrated excellent service, organizational, and communication skills. You must have good judgment, problem solving, and decision making skills as well as be an organized record keeper. Proficiency in computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook) with the ability to learn new applications.
