Caregiver, Career opportunity in Etobicoke, Ontario

We are seeking a Caregiver to work in our retirement home full time. Optional accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis. Note: This is NOT a condition of employment.

The ideal candidate must have completed Secondary school, Caregiver training and CPR certification and at least 2 years of experience working as a Caregiver. Must be Focused, Reliable, Excellent judgement, Excellent oral communication, take Initiative, Dependable, have effective interpersonal skill and be very organized.

Salary is commensurate with experience. Duties will include:

• Launder clothing and household linens, Assisting residents with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene;
• Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties;
• Provide companionship,
• Provide personal care;
• Assist residents to walk if needed; and Administer medications.
