Part-time Maintenance Worker, Career opportunity in Hamilton, Ontario

We are a retirement home with 91 rooms looking for a maintenance worker.

3 days a week. 8 hour shifts Monday, (Tues or Wed or Thurs) and Friday

Duties:

• Shoveling
• Cutting Grass (NOT GARDENING)
• Basic Minor Electrical and Plumbing
• Able to lift 50+ pounds
• Painting and Drywalling
• Carpet Removal and Laminate Installation
• Replacing light bulbs throughout the building
• Assist with any large scale shopping
• Basic Dryer and Washer repairs
• Other Miscellanous Tasks

• MUST HAVE VULNERABLE SECTOR POLICE SCREENING DONE NO MORE THAN 6 MONTHS PRIOR TO HIRE
• MUST HAVE VALID DRIVERS LICENCE
• MUST HAVE GOOD PEOPLE SKILLS AND PATIENCE AS YOU WILL BE WORKING WITH SENIORS
