17-037 - Housekeeper - Full Time Contract, Career opportunity in Calgary, Alberta

We offer:

• 3 month contract
• 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM rotating shifts with every other weekend
• Starting wage of $14.85 per hour

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the daily cleaning of resident units including bed-making, linen and towel changing
• Responsible for the cleanliness of all common areas and flooring
• Responsible to respond to resident incontinence and follow proper cleaning procedures
• Responsible to assist with and attend special events
• Responsible in ensuring that equipment is kept in good working order
• Other duties as assigned

To be successful you must possess:

• Previous housekeeping experience (preferably within a related industry)
• Must be physically fit, able to lift heavy loads and stand for long periods of time
• The flexibility to work a rotating shift roster that includes every second weekend
• The ability to read, write and communicate in English
• The ability to effectively work independently or within a team
• A flexible, willing and positive attitude
• High safety and hygiene standards
