Key responsibilities include:
- Planning, organizing, and directing resident Activity Programming that enriches lives and encourages participation/socialization
- Creating a social environment throughout the community and promoting resident and family participation by coordinating and communicating a published monthly calendar of events
- Developing, motivating, and supervising department staff in accordance with all company policies, procedures, and core values; including department budget and schedule management
- Coordinating transportation to off-site activities and driving 15-passenger shuttle
- Directly supervising the Activity Assistant and overseeing Transportation department

- Bachelors degree in Recreational Therapy or four-year degree preferred
- Three years of direct program/activities experience, including planning, organizing, and executing a variety of programs
- Current and valid state Driver's License with clean driving record
- Previous supervisory experience required
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills
- Flexibility with schedule, including availability to work some holidays and weekends
- Must enjoy and have passion for working with the senior population
