Key responsibilities include:
- Providing direct care to residents, while promoting their highest levels of functioning, as directed by management
- Assisting residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming and toileting
- Transferring and getting residents to and from activities and meals according to their individual service plans
- Serving meals to residents in the dining room or their apartments
- Assisting in maintaining a home-life environment by providing emotional and social support, and encouraging independence
- High School diploma or GED
- Current Nursing Assistant Certification in the state of Indiana
- One year of nursing experience
- Flexibility with schedule
- Must enjoy working with the senior population
