Qualifications:
- Agrees with the objectives and philosophy of the Village and displays a caring, respectful attitude toward the residents, families, and team members
- Supports and embraces a resident-centered social culture
- Possesses excellent skills in time management, organization, program planning, and leadership
- Demonstrates skill with computers (PointClickCare, MS Word, internet, and office equipment)
- Able to provide exemplary customer service to residents
- Communicates effectively with others
- Works well independently and as a co-operative team member
- Possesses a Degree or diploma in recreation or related studies from a recognized post-secondary institution
- Previous experience working with the seniors population would be an asset
- A musical background would be an asset
- Able to cope with the physical, mental, and emotional demands of the job
