Job description
Responsibilities Include:
- Maintain highest standards of cleanliness in all areas of the kitchen on a daily basis.
- Clean food service areas, including worktable surfaces, stoves, ovens, food storage room and dishwashing area etc.
- Load, operate and empty dishwashers, and put dishes away, ensuring a clean supply is available at all times and correct chemical and temperature practices are followed.
- Clean other kitchen equipment as directed.
- Empty and remove garbage and cardboard from kitchen area.
- Clean fridge and freezer.
Experience & Qualifications:
- Previous related experience in a restaurant style setting preferred but not essential.
- Excellent interpersonal, teamwork and communication skills.
- Ability to understand and follow-out orders.
- Ability to work accurately and quickly.
- Must have an empathy for and ability to get along with the elderly and people with disabilities.
