Banquet Server, Job offer in Mississauga, Ontario

Duties & Responsibilities Include:

• Preparing tables and banquet area for event, meeting expectations of the Inn;
• Welcoming our guests and effectively serve a number of courses;
• Inspecting the food being served and ensure server and quality standards are being maintained;
• Clearing and resetting tables and banquet area after guests depart;
• Any other duties as assigned by a manager;
• Cash handling skills, an asset;
• A la carte serving skills; an asset

Job Requirements 

• Smart Serve Certified;
• Transportation to hotel;
• Will be available to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays;
• 1-3 years of food service customer service experience, preferred;

Physical Requirements

• Continuous standing and walking;
• Bending;
• Ability to lift and carry a weight of approximately 50 pounds;
