Key responsibilities include:
- Maintaining and repairing community buildings and grounds in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards/regulations and company policies
- Performing preventative maintenance on all building equipment
- Directing and executing preventative maintenance programs, general repairs and unit-turns
- Directing the community maintenance, housekeeping, and laundry staff to include hiring, training, and evaluating performance
- Conducting regular inspections, identifying needs and executing correction and/or coordinating with the Regional Maintenance Director

- High School Diploma or GED
- Three years of related maintenance experience and/or training
- Knowledge of applicable building codes, basic plumbing, painting and electrical a must
- Proficiency in basic carpentry, painting, electrical, and plumbing
- Excellent communication skills including the ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, vendors, and the general public
- Flexibility with schedule
- Must have a compassion for and a desire to work with the elderly
