Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting in maintaining a physical, social, and psychological environment in the best interests of residents
- Monitoring residents within state licensure regulations
- Assisting in writing service plans based on resident needs
- Obtaining and administering medication and treatments as prescribed by physician and within state licensure regulations
- Documenting and reviewing medication and treatment sheets for accuracy and compliance with physician orders, professional standards, federal and state regulations and company policy
- Assisting with discharge process relevant to medication/treatment orders
- Possessing knowledge of OSHA regulations and infection control standards

- Current Practical Nursing Licensure within the state of TN
- Two years of nursing experience; previous experience working with seniors, specifically those with dementia
- Familiar with Microsoft Windows 95, Microsoft Office, and e-mail (Microsoft Outlook or Exchange, preferred)
- Basic typing skills and strong ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
- Flexibility with schedule (needed for all three shifts)
- Energetic, compassionate, and enjoy working with the senior population
