- Clients are located across the GTA with HQ in Central Toronto
- Start Date on or before Aug 3, 2020.
What do you need to qualify?
- Registered member in good standing with regulatory college
- Baccalaureate in Nursing or equivalent would be an asset.
- Minimum of three years of working experience in a nursing role
- Ability to work flexible hours (some evenings and weekends are required).
- Demonstrated ability to develop leaders, mentor their growth and ensure development is ongoing.
Additional requirements:
- Standard First Aid Certification (maintained and renewed every three years).
- Current HCP/CPR and A.E.D. certification (maintained and renewed annually).
- Hold professional membership and professional liability protection insurance.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Willingness to travel overnight (approximately 3-4 times per year).
- Valid G2 or G License and access to a reliable vehicle for local travel (frequent) and provincial travel (a few times per year).
- Demonstrated knowledge of occupational health and safety practices, principles and legislation.
- Compliance with infectious disease screening as per provincial legislation and maintaining immunizations; must meet Home Concierge’s expectation to get annual influenza vaccine.

- Excellent relationship building skills and the ability to engage and support the seniors you care for – experience caregiving / fostering relationships with seniors a plus
- Interest in representing Home Concierge in our medical channels; driving referrals from physicians, discharge planners and nurses
- Excellent communicator, resilient, & flexible to meet the changing priorities of a pilot project
- Drive to coach, develop and hold accountable managers and front line employees.
- Ability to accurately assess the performance level of managers. Ability to provide constructive feedback and create developmental / performance improvement plans where necessary. Commitment to follow through with developmental activities.
- Proven ability to create succession plans, to provide direction or training to ensure employees are prepared for future roles/projects, and to mentor upcoming leaders in the Home Concierge way.
- Demonstrates strong financial acumen.
- Superior oral, written and listening communication skills.
- Ability to create strategies aligned with organizational plans and execute to deliver on measurable objectives.
- Demonstrated ability to align priorities with organizational strategic direction as well as assisting direct reports to design action plans supporting these priorities.
