Casual Registered Practical Nurse (RPN), Job offer in Peterborough, Ontario

We are accepting applications for a casual RPN to work day or evening shifts as needed.

Day shift 7am - 3pm, Evening shift 3pm - 11pm

Availability for weekend work will be required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Current certificate of competence as a Registered Practical Nurse with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Certified in Cardiopulmonary resuscitation and First Aid.
• Must have good leadership, communication skills.
• Maintains and upgrades nursing skills through ongoing courses and seminars and/or through self-study.
• Required to complete Orientation and all ORCA and in house training courses.
• Must be flexible to work all shifts where required.
• A good team player
• Experience working in a retirement home setting will be an asset
• RPN Candidates who would consider being cross trained to work as a PSW will be given top priority
