Registered Practical Nurse (RPN), Job offer in Ottawa, Ontario

SCHEDULE: Part-time Evenings, 50 hours bi-weekly, every other weekend. This is intended to define the normal hours of work for employees but shall not be interpreted as a guarantee of hours, therefore, employees must be available to work flexible hours as may be required.

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: Current and in-good standing registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario. Experience in geriatric or long-term care desirable. Current possession of CPR certificate(minimum). Possession and knowledge of the nursing and aging process. Skilled in supervising the work of other nursing personnel. Genuine interest and concern for residents and their activation and restoration potentials. Maturity, empathy, patience and tact. Motivation, judgment, initiative, speed and accuracy.

 

RATE OF PAY: As per the Collective Agreement
