Under the direction of the Senior Director of Hospitality for Alavida Lifestyles and the General Manager of Park Place, the Assistant Hospitality Manager is accountable for the total operation of the Food Services Department, including management, purchasing, operational and menu planning.
Graduate of Culinary Management or 3 years experience, experience working with seniors, HACCP certification preferred, minimum 5 years related experience (retirement, hospital, hotel), supervisory experience, knowledge of special diets, completion of Safe Food Handlers Certification course, knowledge of Ontario Food Premises Regulation and Canada’s Food Guide, excellent English language, communication, organization, team environment, and MS Office skills.
