As a Sunrise cook, you will be responsible for the preparation and serving of meals, sanitation of food service areas, accurate record keeping, receiving, rotating and inventory of products and regulatory compliance. Serving the residents in our community and as a key member of the dining services team, you will ensure all special dietary needs are met and prepare texture modified food as directed. You will follow the specially prepared Sunrise menus and production sheets to maintain the highest possible quality and consistency. Compliance with all record keeping, food safety and risk management requirements are essential.

In the role of "Reminiscence Coordinator" you will be responsible for leading and managing the reminiscence neighborhood. You will champion the resident care and programs, and share your knowledge through outreach and support to families. At Sunrise, we build personal relationships and trust with each of our residents by selecting a designated care manager for each resident. This benefits the residents and team members by deepening the understanding and bond between them. As the Reminiscence Coordinator, you will facilitate that process and lead the Reminiscence Neighborhood team. This includes recruiting, hiring, training and coaching a high quality team. • Responsibilities The Dining Room Care Manager is responsible for providing dining and table services to residents in the community's dining rooms and designated areas in accordance with Sunrise Senior Living standards.
• The Dining Room Care Manager is responsible for serving as a role model in providing dining service and assisting with training care givers, maintaining proper dining room set up, assisting in special events, monitoring appropriate checklists in support of the dining area cleanliness and readiness standards and assisting in table top inventories maintenance.
• The Dining Room Care Manager is responsible for handling all food and beverages in accordance with sanitary procedures and standards and complies with all federal, state and local regulatory procedures regarding food service.

Responsible for performing general housekeeping duties in resident suites, public areas and support areas as assigned while meeting or exceeding Sunrise's quality standards. Such responsibilities include: - Maintaining the commercial laundry in a clean, orderly and sanitary condition. - Collecting, cleaning and redistributing the community laundry. - Properly sorting, washing and drying linens following the approved laundry procedures. - Responsible for trash collection and removal and maintaining trash receptacles and collection areas in a clean, sanitary manner. - Assists Care Givers and Department Leaders with resident care when requested.

Other responsibilities include monitoring the Bistro area for refreshments, music, cleanliness as well as general administrative duties. It will be your role to support the welcoming and supportive feeling of a Sunrise community.
