• Assisting in maintaining a physical, social, and psychological environment in the best interests of Memory Care residents
• Monitoring residents within state licensure regulations
• Assisting in writing service plans based on resident needs
• Obtaining and administering medication and treatments as prescribed by physician, including all documentation required

How you will serve our residents and our community:

• Consistently and genuinely demonstrate the STARS principles of Service, Teamwork, Action, Reputation and Success in all activities and interactions.
• Assists residents with activities of daily living such as feeding, bathing, dressing, toileting, hygiene and mobility, as directed by their individual service plans.
• Where properly certified, may administer or assist with medications as needed, in strict accordance with both internal and external protocols and regulations.
• Monitors changes in residents’ functional status and personal care needs; documents observations and advises supervisors and/or clinical staff as appropriate.
• Assists in the development and updating of Resident Care Plans.
• Encourages resident participation in scheduled programs and activities.
• Conducts one on one or small group activities as assigned by supervisor in conjunction with the Vibrant Living Director.
• Assists with laundry and light housekeeping tasks as needed.
• Assists with serving meals and bussing tables as needed.
• Chaperones activities outside the community as needed.
• Monitors the community and takes appropriate action to keep the environment safe, clean, and attractive for residents, guests and co-workers.
• Participates in and attend all in-service training and education programs as scheduled.
• Other duties as assigned.

Carriage House Senior Living Community, is a two community property comprised of 38 bed memory care; 60 bed assisted living, owned and operated by Five Star Senior Living. We are currently seeking an Activities Assistant to provide scheduled activities for residents under direction of Activities Director. This will include: provide outings and work with management team on marketing events and events for staff

As a designated care provider at Sunrise, you will be at the center of what we do best, caring for the residents of our communities.

• You will build meaningful relationships with a specified number of seniors and their families as you provide assistance with activities of daily living, attend to individual care needs and get to know their unique preferences and personalities.
• You will notify management of changes in condition and recommend adjustments in the level of care and service.
• You will assist residents in life skills and other life enriching activities as indicated on their individual profile.
• Blends a variety of multi-sensory experiences into the resident's day.

The Night Attendant oversees the well-being of the building and its operation during the night shift. Duties include monitoring the front desk and emergency call system, ensures the building is secure, and housekeeping duties on the evening/night shift duty list. Two years of experience required accompanied by assisted living experience preferred.
