This is a great part-time, after school job for students and a nice choice for people looking for a part-time job with flexible hours.

This position will typically work from 4:30 PM – 7:30 PM two or three days a week or more. Week-end day time shifts also available.

• Assisting residents with daily activities of living, including grooming, bathing, dressing and toileting as needed
• Treating each resident with respect while recognizing individual needs and encouraging independence
• Transferring residents to and from activities and meals
• Providing direct care to residents following individual service plans

• Documents as per policy and procedures.
• Ensures residents’ rights are maintained.
• Ensures recreational equipment and supplies are used, maintained and stored in a safe, clean, and efficient manner. Reports unsafe or faulty equipment to manager.
• Actively participates in Q.I. program, meetings, committees and educational in-services as required. Assists in the maintenance of statistical records.
• Assists with orientation of new residents.
• Provides guidance, assistance and support to volunteers. Assists Recreation Manager in the evaluation of volunteers.
• Performs other related duties to ensure quality holistic resident service.
